Frog Princess Cake

Long before Disney made a movie...there was a book...A book I just loved! The Frog Princess by E.D. Baker...Well, at the time my husband and I lived in a town where the university hosted a "Books to Eat" contest, where contestants made a cake or other edible item that depicted a book. This cake was actually my very first time working with fondant! I think it turned out pretty good... :) It won audiance favorite!!!

1st Birthday Cake

This is one of the very first cakes I did almost 4 years ago for my daughters first birthday! A simple garden scene...and tasty too.

The little purple and pink flowers and butterflies were in royal icing, everything else was buttercream. I love looking back at things that I have done. It actually inspires me to do better when I look at the cakes and other sweet creations I have made.
